The auto rep is awful IMO, it's about three inches thick and the subdial spacing is way off, quartz microstepper is much better, and cheaper Win win!! Yeah, don't know how quickly they generally run through their stock, but this model has been backordered since at least last fall. I imagine that is due to Steinhart sourcing the ETA 2893-2.
