plankton 1 Posted March 24, 2015 Ok, ok I know we have beat this to death but I really feel the need to share this one. Ordered my V7 from Ken last week and it arrived (which is a lot better than seizure), my expectations were so so as I didn't believe or buy into the AR hype. To be short this one has replaced my Noob 243 as the best out of the box rep for sure. I unboxed and tested the movement first and to my surprise it is pretty much on, 3spd in 3 positions which is a first for the ultra chinese AAA+++ 2824-2. I clearly got lucky with the movement but I always seem to get lucky with Ken. Next is the finish and AR of course. There is a substantial difference in this V7 verses all the others (which i have had all of them and Vac modded them as well). Honestly I do not see a reason to mod this particular watch for AR on crystal or DW. Lume is flaming for a rep, no need to mod here either. Interior bezel matches up pretty damn well to all the markers and the watch tests out to 4 ATM on a dry pressure test (I'm aware that's not totally reliable). I'm pleased! It is such a beautiful watch, but I want to be able to put a gen strap on it to really complete the package?
