The golf apps are great, but the GPS drains the battery significantly. A pointless gimmick that will sell due to the apple brand strength, but utterly pointless for me. I'm not about to start a debate here but I'm a Samsung guy. I've contemplated a smart watch before, obviously looking down the Samsung route. To begin with I thought they were a great idea, but purely only because I like to run and paired with the fitness apps around its alot easier than having to whip out my phone everytime I want to check stats etc... I have since come to my senses and bought myself a GPS watch, which I use and then upload the data to strava....this means I don't have to weigh myself down with my small laptop sized 'mobile' phone when out running .
