Corv99 2 Posted April 17, 2015 Hi all thought I would share this bad boy in a bit more detail as I have been asked about it a few times.. Essentially I have lusted after this for years, and follwed it in development.. It was built by Mr Pap who is on here and a Mod next door he is my Achilles heel as he is also repsonsible for me getting a Sohne Tourby.. but thats another story.. anyway this thing is amazing, I had no chance of reproducing this as it isn't repped that I know of. and the platinum Gen is a limited run of 500 pieces Pap built this using a Gen dial! yes only 499 left!!! he essentially got it form a guy who didn't realise what he really had, right place, right time type situation I had a Gen Dial, Strap Franken Pilot which was a really superb version, Vac build and was amazing piece.. but the platinum edition has stand up markers with silver accents that really stand out which I think look amazing.. I did try to find away to duplicate this, but no way to co it, and also messiong with a Gen dial is not clever!! So anyway due to a new project Mr Pap decided to move his on.. so I decided after more than 2 years I needed to act.. so had another long chat with him, in the background moved my Fanken on and a few others.. but essentially I couldn't pass this up.. it is a keeper for sure, I had some people after I bought it asking to buy it off me!! but this is a keeper for me... So Spec is Gen Dial.... 1 of 500 ( couple of minor blemishes, but actually you can't notice at all really.. I struggled when Mr Pap pointed it out) Gen Strap ( used buffalo, but actually really comfy as worn in a bit.. my old one had a gen too and they really are amazing!!) Movement is like butter crown tubes, screw down etc faultless and if that wasn't enough a KeNny Relume .. not much to say about that we all know!
